In 2006, Nina emigrated from Germany to earn a Master's degree at Colorado State University. 3 years later, Nina joined our lab to complete a Ph.D. In the following 3 and half years, Nina published 3 papers and received many awards and distinctions for her research. Nina is a valued lab leader and exemplary scientist, and on November 13, she successfully defended her thesis and graduated from the Department of Integrative Physiology & Center for Neuroscience.
